008 Villa was designed by Stefan Antoni of SAOTA, among the most recognised names in contemporary architecture in South Africa and abroad.

The villa features in the book Light, Space, Life: Houses. by SAOTA. A monograph on leading South African architecture.

The building has been kept true to its original 2008 form, inside and out, to the award-winning specification it was conceived in.

The villa won House & Leisure’s House of the Year Award in 2009 as a result of its dramatic minimalist lines, heavy reliance on glass facades to maximize light, and fluid indoor-outdoor integration.
