Travis, manager
Raised across several countries, Travis reads people and rooms easily. Hospitality was always the natural path. With a background in guest relations at Relais and Chateaux hotels, Travis implements the 5 C’s (Courtesy, Charm, Character, Calm & Cuisine) into every aspect of 008 Villa’s presentation and operations.

Gina, chef
Gina grew up in busy kitchens and crowded dining rooms, and has spent her life learning what a shared table can do. Gina’s background also includes Relais and Chateaux hotels and has worked under some of the most recognised chefs in South Africa. Gina is also involved at our sister property Domaine de L’ansa in Cannes, where she has gained international experience alongside the most discerning French chefs.
Cynthia, housekeeper
At 008 since the beginning, Cynthia is the heart of the house and the one who steadies everyone else. The matriarch of the villa, Cynthia’s sense of humour, warm approach and willingness to help in all aspects of a stay make her an integral part of the guest experience.

Zingisa brings a mother’s warmth to the house, and a real eye for the small things that make a stay. Her smile, quiet confidence, and willingness to do more than what is expected is regularly noticed by our guests.
Jack, groundskeeper
Jack keeps the gardens and pools immaculate, and the place calm. Whilst his responsibilities are focused on the outdoor areas, Jack involves himself in the meal service side of a stay. The strong-man of the house, Jack enjoys spending time in the gym and is happy to help with the equipment, spot and be a workout partner if required.
